"Einsatz von SystemC im Hardware/Software-Codesign";
Supervisor: G. Cadek, K. Riedling; Institut für Industrielle Elektronik und Materialwissenschaften, 2001.

English abstract:
The development of electronic systems continuously requires improved methods and tools, in order to fulfill the requests of the market and remain in the competition against the other companies. Therefore considerations are facilitated, how to use more effective methods, which both increase the quality of the results and ease the re-use of existing systems. This paper is about SystemC, which extends the programming language C++ by constructs for the modeling of hardware and supports the top-down system-design from the specification down to the component-netlist . I will briefly outline the syntax of SystemC and show the implementation of a concrete system and the integration into the existing design flow.
